FULLERTON, CA - Pacific won the decisive doubles point to pull out a "routine" 4-3 non-conference women's tennis victory Saturday afternoon at Cal State Fullerton.
The Tigers, now 5-2, have won all five matches this year by a 4-3 score.
Because of a rain threat, singles were played first. The result was a 3-3 draw as the Titans (5-6) won the odd-numbered matches and the Tigers claimed the even. The opposite was true in doubles as Pacific won Nos. 1 and 3 and the Titans settled for No. 2.
Fullerton returns to Big West Conference action Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at UC Irvine.
