FULLERTON, CA – Kalika Slevcove (No. 5) and Emilia Borkowski (No. 4) won their singles matches and teamed to build a big advantage at No. 3 doubles Sunday to trigger Cal State Fullerton's weather abbreviated 4-0 non-conference women's tennis victory over Southern Utah.
The Titans (4-5) also won the No. 6 singles match and were awarded the doubles point with substantial advantages totaling 16-4 games. The Thunderbirds fell to 0-3.
Slevcove won her singles match over Alba Payeras, 6-3, 6-2 and Borkowski took a 6-2, 6-1 decision over Laura Martin. Jessica Pepa won at No. 6, 6-1, 6-0.
Fullerton's next matches also are non-conference at home, Eastern Michigan on Friday and Pacific on Saturday, both at 1:30 p.m.
