FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team returns to action on Thursday at the ITA Southwest Regionals co-hosted by San Diego and San Diego State.
Entering this week's rounds of play, Cal State Fullerton holds a 4-13 tournament singles record as well as a 5-8 mark in doubles action.
At the Beach Tennis Tournament, freshmen Michelle Erasmus (1-2) and Danielle Pham (1-2) made their respective Titan debuts, while sophomores Alexis Valenzuela (1-1) and Camille De Leon (1-2) were the other two Titans to earn victories.
Emilia Borkowski, a redshirt sophomore, is returning for the 2014-15 season after missing the previous year with an injury. As a freshman in 2013, the La Crescenta, Calif., native boasted a 10-6 dual singles record as well as a 6-8 dual doubles mark.

• Camille De Leon will play Nina Asanin of Grand Canyon. With a win, De Leon would move on to play Vivian Lin of CSUN later in the day.
• Emilia Borkowski will play Danielle Feneridis of Pepperdine on Thursday morning. With a win, Borkowski would advance to play seventh-seeded Zoe Katz of USC.
• Michelle Erasmus will play Loyola Marymount's Elanor Grossman on Thursday morning, and with a win would advance to play 13th-seeded Michaela Cappanolo of Pepperdine.
• Danielle Pham will play Grand Canyon's Lana Rinaldi on Thursday morning, and with a win, would advance to play San Diego State's Tamitha Nguyen in the afternoon.
• Jessica Pepa is scheduled to play UC Irvine's Mazy Watrous on Thursday morning, and with a win, would advance to play 15th-seeded Ebba Unden from Long Beach State.

• Alexis Valenzuela received a bye through the round of 128, and in the round of 64 will play the winner of Christine Maddox (Pepperdine) and Sarah Gealer (Hawai'i) on Thursday afternoon.

• Playing together for the first time this year, Michelle Erasmus and Megan Sandford will partner against San Diego State's Tamitha Nguyen and Dora Somoracz.
• Playing together for the first time this year, Danielle Pham and Alexis Valenzuela will play Laura Eales and Maeva Razakasoa of Long Beach State.
• Playing together for the first time this year, Emilia Borkowksi and Camille De Leon will play Loyola Marymount's Julia Norin and Anna Romeka.
Play Tennis with the Titans
The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis program invites tennis players of all levels to a morning of round robin doubles at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Titan Tennis Courts.
Participants will be teamed with a current or former member of the Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team, and will compete against other doubles teams in round-robin play.
Cost to participate is $150 per player, and all proceeds go directly to the women's tennis program.
