FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team dropped its second match in as many days, falling 5-2 to Nevada on Saturday morning at the Titan Tennis Courts.
Nevada improved to 3-1 on the year with the win.
The Titans (1-3) lost the doubles point, although the team of Alexis Valenzuela and Kalika Slevcove defeated the pair of Caroline Konigsfeldt and Monika Magusiak, 6-2, at the No. 2 spot.
Fullerton recorded its two points by two wins in singles play.
Freshman Camille De Leon improved to 3-1 on the season with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Konigsfeldt at No. 3 in the lineup. Junior Jessica Pepa improved to 2-2 on the year with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Beatriz Garcia Planas.
Cal State Fullerton returns to action at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, hosting Hawai'i in Big West Conference action.
