Titans Host Fourth-Annual 'Power in Pink' Event

April 10, 2012

FULLERTON, CA - The Cal State Fullerton softball team will host its fourth-annual "Power in Pink" day in conjunction with Under Armour to support breast and ovarian cancer research and awareness on Saturday, April 21, during its doubleheader with Big West Conference rival UC Riverside at Anderson Family Field.

First pitch for the doubleheader is scheduled for 4 p.m. as the Titans and Highlanders will meet for the first time in Fullerton's "Power in Pink" series. A silent auction of the Titans' game-worn pink jerseys will be held throughout the evening and donations will be collected during the game. All proceeds will benefit the National Foundation for Cancer Research as part of its "Beat Cancer With a Bat" initiative.

Fans are encouraged to join Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside in wearing pink to show their support for the cause.

General admission tickets are \$8 for adults and \$6 for youth and seniors and may be purchased at the gate on game day or online at FullertonTitans.com. For ticket information, please contact the athletic ticket office at 657-278-CSUF.
