FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton (12-7) hits the road for the weekend as they participate in the Silicon Valley Classic II hosted by San Jose State and Santa Clara. The Titans will face San Jose State, Nevada, Weber State, Northern Kentucky, and Santa Clara from Thursday to Saturday.

The Titans are coming off a 3-1 weekend at the Judi Garman Classic with a walk-off win over No. 20 Oregon and a pair of run-rule victories over UConn and New Mexico. Their lone loss came against No. 5 Washington while their game against UTSA was rained out.

Ari Williams and Dani Martinez led Fullerton over the weekend and swept the Big West weekly awards because of it. Williams' .583 average and 1.167 slugging percentage in four games led her to her second Field Player of the Week while Martinez threw 12 innings with a microscopic 0.58 ERA en route to a perfect 3-0 weekend giving her both Pitcher and Freshman of the Week.

Williams continues to lead the offense with a .436 batting average this season to go along with five home runs and 18 RBI. Alexa Neil out of the leadoff spot ranks second with a .377 average and a .459 on-base percentage. Daisy Munoz is coming off a historic game where she went 2-2 with two home runs and seven RBI against New Mexico. She became the first Titan to ever homer twice in one inning with a pair of home runs in a 10-run third inning against New Mexico.

In the circle, Martinez leads the staff with a 2.60 ERA, 44 strikeouts, and a .181 opponent batting average. Junior Sophie Frost leads the way in terms of appearances and innings with 48.2 innings pitched across 14 appearances.

Fullerton will face co-host San Jose State (10-7) on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in San Jose, Calif. The Spartans are coming off a 1-2 rain shortened weekend in San Diego. As a team, they hit .239 with three hitters at .340 or higher at the plate. In the circle, they sport a 3.78 ERA with a .952 fielding percentage defense behind them.

Friday will be a doubleheader in Santa Clara, Calif. as they face Nevada (9-6) at 9:00 a.m. followed by Weber State (4-9) at 11:30 a.m. The Wolf Pack from Nevada are hitting .278 as a team with a combined 3.18 ERA in the circle. The Wildcats of Weber State have the highest average the Titans will face at a .283 clip, but they have struggled in the circle sporting a 10.09 team ERA.

The Titans close out the weekend with a doubleheader again on Saturday beginning with Northern Kentucky (3-8) at 9:00 a.m. and co-host Santa Clara (2-10) at 11:30 a.m. The Norse from NKU have a .242 team batting average led by Madi Mulder's .438 mark, while the pitching has a 4.01 team ERA. The host Broncos have struggled this season going 2-10 thus far and are coming off an off-weekend due to weather cancelling their tournament in Colorado.

Fullerton enter the weekend with all-time winning records against four of the five programs as the Titans have never faced Northern Kentucky before.
