FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton (4-1) recorded their third walk-off victory in five games with an 8-0 victory over Pacific (2-3) to close out the Titan Classic.
Alexa Neil recorded her second consecutive multi-hit game going 2-2 with a pair of runs scored and a walk. Irie Siofele belted her second home run, a grand slam, of the season going 1-3 with four RBI on the day. Daisy Munoz and Evelyn Sablan each only had one at-bat, but both hit their first career home run. Ari Williams and Sam Kennedy were the only other two Titans to record knocks in the victory.
In the circle, it was the Dani Martinez show. The freshman threw her first career shutout going the full six innings only allowing two hits and three walks while striking out four. In 10.1 innings of work this weekend, she only allowed three hits.
Fullerton got things got in the first inning once again with singles from Neil and Williams to go with a fielder's choice from Deshea Hill to load the bases. Zoe Richard would come up with a sac fly to bring in the first run of the ballgame.
The big hit of the day came in the second inning after a pair of errors and a walk loaded the bases once again. Siofele would follow up with a towering shot down the left field line for a grand slam extending the lead to 5-0.
The Titans were held in check until the fifth when Munoz stepped to the plate and launched her first career home run, a two-run shot to left field.

Sablan would end the game in the bottom of the sixth with a line drive home run that just cleared the left field fence. It goes down as Fullerton's third walk-off in five games and gives them a 4-1 after opening weekend.

The Titans will be on the road next weekend as they head to the University of Arizona for five games in the Hillenbrand Invitational.
