FULLERTON, Calif. – The back-to-back Big West Champion Cal State Fullerton softball program has announced the date for their annual alumni game and Leadoff Social fundraiser. Both events will take place on Saturday, January 27.
The day's events will start at 12:00 p.m. as the school will be unveiling the memorial bench in honor of Coach Linda Shafor. The bench is located at Anderson Family Field on the concourse down the first base line.
At 1:00 p.m., everyone is invited to stay at Anderson Family Field and watch the alumni face-off against each other in a game of slowpitch softball. Prior to the game, each alumnus will receive a custom-made shirt to wear for the game.
Following the game will be an alumni social in the V.I.P. room where alumni, players, family, and fans are welcome to hang out and share stories with each other. The social will be approximately 30 minutes starting at 2:30 p.m.
The day will end with softball's annual fundraiser, the Leadoff Social. The event will take place at the Alumni House, off of Gym Drive by the police station, starting at 4:00 p.m.

The Leadoff Social fundraiser will raise money directly for the Cal State Fullerton softball team and brings together past, present, and future Titans. The fundraiser is an extension of the great tradition of Titan softball and reflects on the history of one of the most winningest programs in college softball. All alumni, family, and fans are invited to attend the event and join us in celebrating the legacy of this historic softball program. During the event, the team will have a raffle along with some outstanding auction items that everyone is welcome to bid on. Auction items include an 18-person suite for a Lakers or Clippers game, tickets for various sporting events, different vacation packages, amazing Titan apparel, and much more! At the event, Judi Garman will be in attendance and unveil the recipient of the Judi Garman determination award and of course, everyone will get the chance to meet the 2018 Titans.
