Tickets for Oct. 14 vs. USSSA Pride

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton head softball coach Kelly Ford announced the release of the 2015 fall schedule Monday.

Spanning from mid-October to early November, the Titans' fall schedule will kick off on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at Anderson Family Field as Fullerton takes on the USSSA Pride, which plays in the National Pro Fastpitch league. The Pride is one of five NPF teams and is based in Kissimmee, Fla. The team was founded in 2009 and will play their 2015 home games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The game will be the second in the Pride's five-game fall tour that features games against Arizona State, CSUN, Cal Poly and Fresno State.

The Titans game against the Pride will begin at 6 p.m. and admission will be $5 for general admission.

Following that game, the Titans hit the road on Oct. 17, traveling to the University of San Diego to take on Palomar J.C. at 11 a.m. The Titans follow that with a game against the Toreros at 1 p.m. San Diego went 29-23 in 2015 and was 8-7 in West Coast Conference action.

The next day, the Titans return to Anderson Family Field to take on Arizona State at noon. The Sun Devils advanced to the NCAA Postseason in 2015, going 12-11 in the PAC-12 and 36-22 overall. They fell in the Baton Rouge Regional hosted by Louisiana State. The Sun Devils defeated Nebraska and LSU in the first two games of the regional before the Tigers came back to defeat ASU 5-0 and 4-3 in nine innings in the deciding game. 

Fullerton travels to UCLA on Oct. 24 to take on the Bruins at noon. UCLA finished the 2015 season with a 51-12 record and 19-5 mark against the PAC-12. The Bruins hosted the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament and were a perfect 5-0 as they advanced to the NCAA Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City, Okla. The Bruins defeated Oregon in the first game of the WCWS before falling to Michigan and Auburn in the next two games.

The Titans return to home on Nov. 6 to host Allan Hancock and CSU San Bernardino beginning at 3 p.m. and then wrap up the fall schedule on Nov. 7 with the Cal State Fullerton Fall Tournament at Anderson Family Field Complex. It will feature 10 teams and eight games played on two fields. The tournament begins at 9:30 a.m. with Riverside C.C. taking on Biola on field two.

The Titans will face CSU Dominguez Hills at noon in their only game of the tournament.
