Mirin Fader of the Orange County Register recently interviewed third-year head softball coach Kelly Ford about her journey in being an intricate part to the revival of the Cal State Fullerton softball program.  

The Titans begin play this weekend participating in the Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Springs, Calif. Fullerton opens up competition against a pair of ranked squads in No. 18 Missouri and No. 14 LSU on Thursday, followed by No. 23 Texas A&M on Saturday, and wrap up the four-day event against Nevada and Oklahoma State on Sunday. Fullerton games will be split among Cathedral City's PGF Yankee, Schutt Fenway and Mizuno Pawtucket fields.
