Titans Ink Trio to 2016 Signing Class
FULLERTON, Calif. - Head coach Kelly Ford announced that three area prep athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play softball for the Cal State Fullerton Titans. Sydney Golden, Raeanne Martinez and Ariana Williams all hail from California and will begin their careers with the Titans at the beginning of the 2015-16 academic school year.

"We are excited to welcome in this group of dynamic signees," said Ford. "The athleticism, offensive prowess and pitching skill will be strong assets to the future of Titans softball. Our staff has high expectations for all the student-athletes that we will be bringing into our family and this group represents the type of individuals we want to surround ourselves with."

"Our staff is really looking for Sydney to flourish on the mound at Cal State Fullerton. She has the size, the levers, and the physical presence to really make a statement in the Big West Conference," Ford said. "Sydney comes from a travel ball program that expects to win and that is an intangible for a pitcher. She is a full package when it comes to performing on the softball field and in the classroom, exhibiting many traits that you want to surround yourself with."

"Her personality is electric and her drive to be successful will make everyone around her better. Raeanne also plays for an outstanding travel ball program where winning is a priority in which I expect that same type of edge at Cal State Fullerton."
