2014 Fall Schedule
Spanning from mid-Oct. to mid-Nov., the Titans' fall portion of the schedule will be highlighted by the annual alumni game at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15. Fullerton fans are invited to catch past Titans in action, as the alumni take on the alumni.
Fullerton welcomes UCLA to Anderson Family Field, who posted a 52-8 record a season ago, marking the most wins for the program since 2003, concluding the season ranked No. 5 in the nation. The Titans and Bruins will square off at 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25 with split squad games being played simultaneously at Anderson Family Field and Field No. 2.
"We are excited to try out a new concept and pilot project that will split rosters of competing teams to increase competition," said Ford. "Playing two games at one time will give all student-athletes the chance to be out on the diamond, while it benefits our evaluation in the fall."
The Titans will also host the two-day Cal State Fullerton Fall Tournament from Nov. 7-8. Notable teams participating include the Mexican National Team, in which Fullerton assistant coach Jorge Araujo was a part of the coaching staff, while Missy Taukeiaho and Oregon State transfer Kylie Padilla competed on the squad over the summer. The Titans will face the Mexican National Team at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 7.
The final notable matchup for CSF will take place at 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8 when the Titans host Mt. SAC. Ford has an extensive track record at Mt. SAC as she guided the program to four California State Championships (2003, 2005, 2007, 2009), seven South Coast Conference Championships (2003-08, 2001) and has earned South Coach Conference Coach of the Year honors five times. Ford chalked up a staggering 455-102-1 (.816) record over her 11-year career at the helm.
