FULLERTON, Calif. – The NCAA released the RPI, Ratings Percentage Index, that the Cal State Fullerton softball team has been ranked at No. 32 on Monday.
The RPI ranking is a system used by the NCAA to rank sports teams based upon a team's wins and losses and its strength of schedule. Last season the Titans finished ranked No. 204 in the NCAA.
The Titans are 15-17 overall and 2-1 in Big West Conference play this season. Fullerton will take on Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this Friday in a doubleheader. First pitch for game one is at 4 p.m. and game two is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Anderson Family Field. The series will conclude on Saturday March 30 with game three taking place at noon.
