Columbia, Mo. - Cal State Fullerton women's soccer earned its third straight victory on Friday night thanks to a 3-2 win at Missouri. Senior Taylor Salgado scored the opening goal while junior Haley Brown scored the next to propel the Titans to their first road win of the season.

"I am extremely proud of our group and their performance tonight," head coach Demian Brown said. "Missouri is a quality program and extremely well coached. For our ladies to travel here and play as well as we did is a major step forward."

Junior Delaney Dombek Lindahl crossed the ball into the box and found Salgado at the far post as she headed home her second goal of the season to give the Titans an early 1-0 lead.

In the 20th minute, sophomore Kaya Hawkinson found Brown making a run into the box and delivered an inch-perfect ball that Brown hit off the volley right into the back of the net to put CSF up 2-0. It was her second goal of the season and Hawkinson's fourth assist.

Missouri then tied the match before the half with goals from Sarah Luebbert and Macy Trujillo in the 38th and 42nd minutes, respectively.

In the fifth minute of the second half, the nation's leading assister, senior Atlanta Primus, received the ball in the middle of the field with her back to the goal, turned to her right while Brown was streaking towards the goal on the other side. Primus deftly touched the ball with the outside of her right foot to find Brown who controlled and fired the shot into the side netting on the far side for the match-winning goal.

Primus now has 18 assists for her career, one away from tying the program record for assists in a career and two away from holding the record outright.

CSF peppered the Missouri goal as the team tallied 17 shots, 10 of which were on target. Fullerton also won 14 corner kicks. Missouri took eight shots (four on target) and won two corners.

Next up for the Titans is a trip to Loyola Marymount on Thursday at 7 p.m. PT and then back home for Weber State on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. PT.
