FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's soccer moved to 4-2 on the year as they defeated Kansas State on Sunday evening by a score of 2-0. Thanks to goals from senior Maddie Bennett and sophomore Emelia Owen while freshman goalkeeper Noa Schumacher claimed the shutout.
The Titans created numerous chances but were unable to break the deadlock until the 74th minute when sophomore Kaya Hawkinson's corner kick was delivered into the box. Bennett's clever back-heel flick barely crossed the line for her second straight match-winning goal. She scored three goals over the last two matches and six total on the year, the most in the Big West Conference.

In the 83rd minute, freshman Vanessa Buso played the ball to Owen wide open in the 18-yard box and she finished the play off for her first collegiate goal to secure the win the for the Titans.

Fullerton finished with 20 shots on the night, six of which were on target while also winning four corner kicks.
The Titans return to action on Friday at Missouri for a 5 p.m. PT kickoff.

PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
