FULLERTON, Calif.--- Sophomore Atlanta Primus struck early and Sarah Fajnor added on, as the tandem led Cal State Fullerton to a 2-0 shut out victory over Seattle University in the season opener in front of a crowd of over 1,000 people, Friday night at Titan Stadium.
Primus wasted no time getting the Titans (1-0) on the board, as she struck a ball in the back of the net in the fourth minute of play to put the Titans on top 1-0.
"I was a bit nervous, but to get the first goal in the first game definitely got the ball rolling," said Primus.

It didn't take long for Sarah Fajnor to add on her first goal of the season to extend the lead to 2-0 in the eighth minute of play.
With the win, the Titans have improved to 3-0-1 in their last four season openers, while they earned their first shut out victory since October 23, 2016 at Hawaii.
Fullerton dominated from start to finish in this one, as it outshot Seattle (0-1) 8-6, while also claiming an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Senior Jazzmin Mancilla played in her first contest since tearing her ACL in last year's season opener. She played a total of six minutes in the match.
Tala Haddad led Fullerton with two shots, one being on goal as she played the full 90 minutes. Kaycee Hoover also had a shot on goal in 90 minutes of play.
Morgan Bertsch recorded her first shut out of the year in goal, while collecting two saves.
The Titans will look to claim their first road win of the season as they'll take on Fresno State in Fresno at noon on Sunday.
