FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton opens Big West Conference action this weekend as the Titans welcome UC Riverside for the conference opener on Friday night at Titan Stadium followed by an afternoon affair against Cal Poly on Sunday.

Single-game tickets for Cal State Fullerton women's soccer can be purchased online at fullertontitans.com or on game day at the ticket window. Cal State Fullerton students receive free admission to Titan home games with their Titan I.D. card.

FRIDAYS AT FULLERTON:

Friday's match against UC Riverside will mark the final "Friday's at Fullerton" date at Titan Stadium for women's soccer. Cal State Fullerton has introduced "Fridays at Fullerton" this season. The new "Fridays at Fullerton" membership club, which is designed to enhance the Titan Athletics game day experience. Fridays at Fullerton will feature a beer/wine hospitality area at every Friday home competition for all sports with Friday events. In order to gain access, one must either join one of the Titan Athletics Booster Clubs by giving at the level designated for that specific sport and receive access for two (2) for each of that sport's Friday at Fullerton hospitality area OR give a $2,500 donation to any Titan Athletics program and receive access for two for ALL 2016-17 Fridays at Fullerton hospitalities (a total of 30). Please note that Fridays at Fullerton access does not include event admission.

PARKING FOR HOME GAMES | BUY ONLINE

Parking for games played Mon-Thurs. is $8. Permit machines located in lots A, D, G, S and on the ground level of the parking structures accept Discover, MasterCard, and Visa, only. The machines located in surface lots accept $1 & $5 bills only. Parking can also be purchased online by visiting the Cal State Fullerton Parking and Transportation website. Daily permits are valid in student lots and parking structures, unless restricted. After 4pm daily permits are valid in College Park Faculty/Staff. After 6pm daily permits are valid in Lots A Faculty/Staff, E Faculty/Staff, C-West, and C-East. Parking for Fullerton games played on weekends (Fri.-Sun) is free after 5 p.m. Friday through the weekend. Please plan accordingly when attending an athletic event at Cal State Fullerton.

FREE STUFF AND AUTOGRAPHS: A GREAT COMBO

Fans attending Friday's match against UC Riverside will receive a Titans Collectors Cup courtesy of CORE Physical Therapy while supplies last. On Sunday, the Titans will hold their final autograph session of the season following the conclusion of the match against Cal Poly.

QUICK HITS

• Cal State Fullerton suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 loss at San Diego in their last match, surrendering the game-winning goal with just 16 seconds left in regulation.

• The three-time defending Big West Tournament champions get set to defend their title this weekend and chase history, looking to become the first team to win four straight conference tournament titles in Big West history. It will be a difficult test as five of the nine teams in the conference are currently ranked in the NSCAA West Region Top-10 poll, including Sunday's opponent Cal Poly.

• Last Friday's match at Arizona State was the first regular season matchup between the teams in program history.

• Head coach Demian Brown is in his 10th season at the helm of the Titans. Cal State Fullerton is 87-82-25 under Brown. In conference play, the Titans are 40-27-6 under Brown with four Big West regular season championships and four Big West Tournament titles, including an active streak of three straight.

The Titans, Highlanders and Mustangs are all unranked in this week's NSCAA Top-25 poll. Cal Poly is currently ranked No. 7 in the NSCAA West Region Poll, one of five Big West teams ranked in the poll this week.

OPPONENT AND HISTORY

UC Riverside

7 p.m. | Friday, Sept. 30 | Titan Stadium

• The Titans open Big West Conference play against the Highlanders, a team they have played 17 times since the program started in 1993.

• The Titans hold a 9-5-3 edge against UC Riverside all-time including a 5-2-2 record in Fullerton.

• In last season's meeting, Fullerton edged the Highlanders, 1-0, in Riverside on the strength of a Jennifer Stuart shutout and a penalty kick conversion by Morgan Batcheller in the 61st minute.

• Historically, the Titans and Highlanders have always played each other close as the last 11 meetings have all been decided by a one-goal margin with ties in 2006, 2011 and 2013. The draw in 2013 came in the championship match of the Big West Conference Tournament. Fullerton advanced, 2-1, on penalty kicks to claim the first of the team's current three straight conference tournament titles.

Cal Poly

2 p.m. | Sunday, Oct. 2 | Titan Stadium

• The Titans and Mustangs will meet for the 28th time, dating back to their first meeting in 1995.

• Fullerton has won the last two regular season matchups and played to a 1-1 draw in the 2013 Big West Conference Tournament. The Titans would advance to the title game on penalty kicks.

• Fullerton is 5-4-4 all-time against Cal Poly in Fullerton, having won the last three regular season matchups at Titan Stadium. Fullerton's last home loss to Cal Poly came on Oct. 3, 2008, a 3-2 defeat.

BLOCK PARTY

The Titans defense has yet to allow more than two goals in a match this season and have allowed multiple goals just three times, the last coming in a 2-0 loss at Arizona State on Sept. 16. The defense has made sure to get in the line of fire this year. Fullerton has allowed 131 shots this season but has blocked 33 of them including three more at San Diego.

THE EMPTY WELL

The Titans have dropped four straight matches by way of shutout for the first time in program history. Fullerton has now been held scoreless for 398:06, which is the longest scoreless streak in program history. The last time the Titans lost four straight matches in a season was 2011.

TRYING TO MAKE HISTORY... AGAIN

The Titans are the only program to have won three straight Big West Tournament titles, a feat they accomplished for the second time in 2015. The 2016 team will look to become the first squad to ever win four straight tournament titles in Big West Conference history.

FULL (OVER)TIME)

The Titans logged their first overtime match of the season on Sept. 18, falling at UNLV 1-0 in double overtime. In 2015, the Titans played four matches that required extra time and went 1-2-2 including a 3-3 result in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against USC, a result the Titans dropped 4-3 in penalty kicks. In Demian Brown's tenure, the Titans are now 14-18-27 in matches that are not settled in regulation time.

Fullerton's seven losses this season have all come by shutout. The last time the Titans were shutout seven times in a season was in 2013. They were held scoreless eight times that season, going 0-6-2. The team would finish with an 8-7-7 record but went on to win the Big West Conference Tournament to kick off the team's current streak of three straight conference tournament titles.

WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS

Senior Jazzmin Mancilla is out for the year with a torn ACL. She suffered the injury in the first match of the season against St. Mary's on Aug. 19.
