Two Big West Conference teams are currently receiving votes in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division I National Poll - Long Beach State and Cal State Fullerton - and the pair squares off at 6 p.m., Sunday at George Allen Field in Long Beach, Calif.

BREAK THE ATTENDANCE RECORD
The Titans are on the road this week, but will be back at Titan Stadium on Thursday at 7 p.m. to host UC Davis. Cal State Fullerton is challenging Titan fans to Break The Attendance Record:
• The first 200 CSUF students will receive a free Jersey Mike's sandwich.
• The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a Titans Territory rally towel courtesy of C.O.R.E Physical Therapy.
• If the record is broken, free chips and drinks will be given out to those redeeming their ticket at the Fullerton University House Jersey Mike's location on Oct. 10-11.

• Cal State Fullerton boasts an NCAA RPI of 44, closely followed by Long Beach State at 45.
• Cal State Fullerton received 18 votes in this week's NSCAA Division I Women's National poll, while Long Beach State received seven votes. In the NSCAA West Region, Fullerton is ranked third followed by the 49ers in fourth.
• The Titans (8-1-1) started the season with six consecutive wins - the best start for the program in its history, beating the previous records of 4-0-0 from 2008 and 1995. Now at 8-1-1, Fullerton is having its best season since 2002, when the Titans were 10-1-1.
• Cal State Fullerton has a nine-game win streak at Titan Stadium dating back to 2014 as well as a 10-game unbeaten streak.

• Of Fullerton's 27 goals thus far, Rebecca Wilson and Christina Burkenroad have either scored or provided the assist in 19.
• Fullerton's last match without a goal scored dates back to a 0-0 double overtime tie vs. Long Beach State at Titan Stadium on Oct. 9, 2014. Since then, the Titans have scored at least one goal in 18 consecutive matches, managing a 15-2-1 record during that stretch. Fullerton's last streak of goal-scoring games was 22, from Oct. 23, 2011-Nov. 1, 2012.

A rematch of the 2014 Big West Tournament championship match will be played at George Allen Field on Sunday as the Titans and 49ers will play their respective Big West Conference opener.
The Titans are the defending back-to-back Big West Tournament champions, while also winning regular season crowns in 2012 and 2014.
LBSU enters the weekend with a record of 5-3-3 and is currently receiving votes, like the Titans, in the NSCAA national poll, and was ranked earlier in the season. The 49ers have a had a challenging schedule, with signature wins over UCLA and DePaul, while suffering losses to Auburn, Loyola Marymount and BYU.
Fullerton leads the all-time series, 9-7-2, including a 6-2-1 advantage at LBSU.
Last Meeting: Connie Caliz and Christina Burkenroad each scored in the first 10 minutes of the match as Cal State Fullerton clinched its second straight Big West Tournament title with a 2-1 victory over Long Beach State on Nov. 8  at Alex G. Spanos Stadium in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

TV TIME
For the fourth consecutive season, it was announced that the championship match of this year's Big West Conference women's soccer tournament hosted by Cal State Fullerton at Titan Stadium would be televised live on FOX Sports PrimeTicket at 1 p.m. on Nov. 8.
In addition, Fullerton's home finale vs. UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 29 will be aired on ESPN3 as will both Big West Tournament semifinal matches on Nov. 5.

PRESEASON PREDICTIONS
The Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team, which has won the Big West regular season or tournament championship for three consecutive years, was selected to finish third in the Big West Preseason Poll.
Cal Poly, the 2013 regular season champion, received three first-place votes in ballots among the Big West's nine head coaches for a total of 72 points. Long Beach State received one first-place vote of its own with 70 points while Cal State Fullerton, the 2014 regular season and Big West Tournament champion, collected 68 points for third place with three first-place nods.
Morgan Batcheller, Christina Burkenroad and Rebecca Wilson were picked for the 2015 Big West Preseason All-Conference Team.

TITANS WIN FOUR TITLES IN THREE YEARS
Cal State Fullerton claimed four Big West championships in three years after the Titans won the Big West regular season and tournament titles in 2014. Last year, the Titans clinched their fourth Big West tournament title in school history and earned the league's automatic NCAA postseason berth. In 2012, Fullerton won its sixth Big West regular season championship in school history.  Cal Poly and Fullerton are now tied for a Big West leading seven regular season championships in program history. This season's title was Fullerton's fifth solo crown after sharing the top spot in 2004 and 2007, the program's sixth in the last 13 seasons, and the third second under Head Coach Demian Brown.

A TRADITION UNLIKE ANY OTHER
When freshman Jessica Simonian stepped on the field for the first time vs. George Washington, she carried on a tradition of sorts in 2015 as her No. 2 jersey is the only number in the history of the Fullerton program to be worn every season since the program began in 1993.

2014 SEASON RECAP
• Cal State Fullerton, the 2014 Big West regular season and tournament champion, completed its 2014 season with a 5-2 loss at third-ranked Stanford in the first round of the 33rd NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship on Nov. 14.
• Cal State Fullerton completed Big West Conference play undefeated (6-0-2) to win the 2014 Big West regular season championship and earn the league's No. 1 seed at the Big West Tournament. For the Titans, it was their second regular season title in three years (2012, 2014). At the Big West Tournament, held in San Luis Obispo, Calif., the Titans defeated CSUN, 1-0, in the semifinals and edged Long Beach State, 2-1, in the finals to claim back-to-back Big West Tournament titles and NCAA Tournament berths.
• The 2014 Titans were the first team since 2007 - also Cal State Fullerton - to win both the Big West regular season championship and the tournament title.
