SPOKANE, Wash. – The Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to seven matches as Rebecca Wilson scored her eighth goal of the season in a 1-1 double overtime tie against Gonzaga on Friday afternoon at Luger Field.

Wilson, the Titans' (6-0-1) leading scorer with eight goals on the year, put Fullerton ahead in the 54th minute after dribbling past Gonzaga goalkeeper Christie Tombari at the top of the box and hammering her shot to the back of the net. Sophomore Sami Koemans provided the assist – the first in her career as a Titan.

But Gonzaga (1-2-3) found the equalizer in the 72nd minute as the Titan defense failed to clear a loose ball and Karley Baggerly netted her fourth of the year beating Titan sophomore goalkeeper Morgan Bertsch to the far post after she had come off her line.

The Titans held a 22-9 shot advantage, including placing 10 on frame as Tombari made nine saves for the Bulldogs. Wilson led Fullerton with seven looks at goal.

Bertsch made two saves for Fullerton as Gonzaga was held to just three shots on goal, although the Bulldogs did have an 11-5 advantage in corners. In addition, the Bulldogs committed 11 fouls to Fullerton's six.

The Titans return to action at noon on Sunday at Washington State. Like the Titans, the Cougars are also receiving votes in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Top 25 Poll.
