FULLERTON, Calif. – The defending back-to-back Big West Conference Tournament champions and 2014 Big West regular season titleholders return to action on Sunday, March 15 at UCLA as the Titans' 2015 spring season is set to begin.

Fullerton will play seven matches during the spring, including four at Titan Stadium while also playing four opponents from the Pac-12.

"This spring we hope to use the level of competition to help us continue to grow as individuals and a program as a whole," head coach Demian Brown said. "We look forward to challenges that these top Division I and Division II programs the West Coast will provide us. At the end of the spring we are confident that these experiences will better prepare us for what the 2015 fall season has in store for us."

The action begins on Sunday, March 15 at UCLA. The Bruins finished the 2014 season ranked fifth in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, compiling a 21-1-2 record, and falling to Virginia, 2-1, in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament after producing a record-breaking season. UCLA had pieced together a 44-game unbeaten streak which included a NCAA title in 2013. With a Pac-12 record of 10-0-1, the Bruins claimed their 11th and second consecutive conference championship in 2014 as well.

Fullerton will play its first two home matches of the spring, hosting USC (10 a.m.) and Cal Poly Pomona (2 p.m.), on Saturday, March 28 at Titan Stadium. The Trojans finished the 2014 season with a record of 12-6-3 and played Pepperdine to a 1-1 tie in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, but were eliminated by way of penalty kicks, 4-2.

The Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team (Div. II) finished the 2014 season with a No. 16 national NSCAA ranking. The Broncos posted a record of 15-6-1, as CPP advanced to the West Region title game in the third round of the Division II NCAA Tournament.

On Saturday, April 11, Fullerton will travel to San Diego for two neutral site matches against Arizona and Arizona State.

The Wildcats suffered a 7-2 loss to Texas A&M in the second round of the NCAA Tournament and completed the year with an 11-8-2 overall record as well as a 4-6-1 mark in the Pac-12.

For Fullerton, it was the program's second regular season title in three years (2012, 2014). At the Big West Tournament, held in San Luis Obispo, Calif., the Titans defeated CSUN, 1-0, in the semifinals and edged Long Beach State, 2-1, in the finals to claim back-to-back Big West Tournament titles and NCAA Tournament berths.
