SAN DIEGO - Caitlyn Kretzschmar's header in the 77th minute off Mariah Butera's corner scored the game-winning goal for San Diego as the Toreros edged Cal State Fullerton, 2-1, at Torero Stadium on Sunday evening.

The Titans end non-conference play with a record of 2-7-2 and will begin Big West Conference action on Thursday at Hawai'i followed by a game at UC Davis on Sunday.

Cal State Fullerton junior forward Rebecca Wilson scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season, including her third in Fullerton's last three games, to even the game in the 65th minute as she hammered in a shot courtesy of a USD defender deflection with Amanda Howard providing the assist.

The Titans were in need of the second-half equalizer after USD's (4-4-2) Rachel Conners one-timed her shot past Cal State Fullerton goalkeeper Jennifer Stuart in the 44th minute when Danielle Gonzales served a cross in front of the Titan goal.

Cal State Fullerton held a 13-9 edge in shots, while corner kicks were even at five apiece.

Stuart made three saves for Fullerton while San Diego's McKenna Tollack made four stops and USD's Michelle Craft was forced to make one save playing the final 23:28 in goal for the Toreros.

Notes: Rebecca Wilson leads the Titans with four goals including three in Fullerton's last three games…Fullerton has lost seven games by one goal this season…of Fullerton's 12 goals, nine have been scored in the second half, and only twice have the Titans scored the first goal of the match…the Titans trail USD 5-10-0 in the all-time series.
