FULLERTON, Calif. – In February, Cal State Fullerton women's soccer head coach Demian Brown inked his 2014 signing class to National Letters of Intent.

Throughout the spring, FullertonTitans.com will "Get to Know" the newest Titans, that will step on campus for the 2014-15 academic year.

The third 2014 Titan signee to join FullertonTitans.com for the Q&A is defender Alyssa Cabral of Montebello, Calif.

FullertonTitans.com: Why did you decide to attend Cal State Fullerton and play for the Titans?

Alyssa: I have always had a dream to play at the Division I level. I was blessed to have an opportunity to play soccer at Cerritos College, and I proved that hard work and dedication to the sport allowed me to be recruited by one of the best programs in California. I had a dream to always play at Cal State Fullerton, and to become a mighty Titan one day.

FullertonTitans.com: What is the best advice you have ever been given and by whom?

Alyssa: The best advice I have ever been given is probably from my Dad. My Dad's advice was that nothing is given to you, that hard work and focus is essential in life, and that no reward or recognition matters as long as you know that you left it all on the field.

FullertonTitans.com: If you could have a super hero power, what would it be and why?

Alyssa: My super power would probably be the power of healing. With just a touch from my finger all the troubles, sickness, and ailment of the person would vanish. I have always had a passion for helping others, and I would try to help everyone make their lives absent of sickness or unhappiness.

FullertonTitans.com: If you could meet any three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Alyssa: The three people that I would like to meet are Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Bocanegra, and Mia Hamm. I picked Cristiano Ronaldo because he is the best soccer player right now, and he is a very handsome man. Carlos Bocanegra because he is a defender like me, and also attractive. Lastly, Mia Hamm, because she is an awesome competitor and I modeled my style of play after her competitive side.

FullertonTitans.com: What should Cal State Fullerton fans know about you?

Alyssa: Cal State Fullerton Fans should know that every game I am going to give it my all; 110 percent. Fans should know that becoming a Titan has been my dream, and I will never let them down. Finally, fans should know that Cal State Fullerton fans are the best!

FullertonTitans.com: What are your hobbies/activities away from the field?

Alyssa: I have many hobbies such as hanging out with family and friends, shopping, and working out.

FullertonTitans.com: If you weren't playing soccer, what sport would you be playing?

Alyssa: Probably nothing because I cannot imagine my life without soccer.

FullertonTitans.com: If you could attend any sporting event in the world, what would it be and why?

Alyssa: I would probably attend the World Cup because it is the best of the best from each country. The fans, atmosphere, and emotion tied up in one place seems exhilarating.
