KYLE, Texas. – Cal State Fullerton jumped up one spot on the final day of competition to finish the Texas State Invitational in ninth place Tuesday with a score of 33-over par 885.

The Titans were led by Elsa Lundquist who had another impressive performance as she finished tied for fifth place after shooting a 1-over par 214. Lundquist shot even par 71 in the third and final round to move up from 14th place.

Felicia Medalla shot 9-over par 222 to finish the Texas State Invitational tied for 25th place. Lisa Djerf and Texie Petchel both shot 13-over par 226 to place them tied for 40th while Courtney Sharkey finished 61st after shooting a 19-over par 232.

UT San Antonio took first place over with a score of 2-over par 854. Hannah Alberto of Sam Houston State captured first place individually after shooting a 6-under par 207.

Fullerton returns to action February 25 at the Gold Rush Invitational host by Long Beach State at the Old Ranch Golf Course in Seal Beach, Calif.
