The Delta Gamma Challenge was shortened to 36 holes due to inclement weather during the final round, leaving the Titans in a tie for ninth place overall but just six strokes behind for a top-five position. They ended up 16 strokes behind tournament champion Idaho. Tisha Alyn Abrea paced the Titans with a 2-over 144 for the tournament and was just four strokes behind co-medalists Lora Assad (Texas State), Sabrina Bonanno (UALR) and Aislynn Merling (Youngstown State), who each finished with a 2-under 140. It was also Abrea's 24th career finish in the top-20, the most in Fullerton history.

DEFENDING THE CROWN: Sophomore Martina Edberg returns to the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational one year after she recorded her first career victory at the tournament in 2014. Edberg recorded three consecutive rounds of 71, finishing with a 3-under 213 and earning co-medalist honors. Her 213 is tied for the eighth lowest score in the history of the tournament, which began in 1997.

EVERYONE'S INTO THE 70s: Following the results of the Delta Gamma Challenge, all six Fullerton golfers that have competed in a tournament during the 2014-15 season have a scoring average in the 70s. Nadine Rivera's score of 146 at the Delta Gamma Challenge helped lower her season scoring average out of the 70s and she is now at a 79.42 average in 14 rounds of play.

RIVERA ONE-UPS HERSELF: Speaking of Rivera, the junior and Cypress, Calif. native once again set new career milestones after her 36 holes at the Delta Gamma Challenge. She posted a 1-under 70 in the second round to mark a new career-best for a single round. She also finished in a tie for 19th place, which was the best final standing of her career and also marked her first top-20 finish with the Titans.
