FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball plays a pair of east coast games this week with Columbia on Wednesday and Saint Peter's on Friday.

This will be the sixth time the Titans and Lions face off with the Lions winning the last matchup 49-61 back in 2016. Columbia is currently on a six-game losing streak after winning their first two games of the season. They are led by Sienna Durr who is averaging 15.3 points per game and 6.9 rebounds.

Fullerton and Saint Peter's have never played each other in program history. The Peacocks are currently 4-3 on the year and coming off a big loss to Seton Hall last week. They are led by Briyanah Richardson, who is averaging 15.4 points and 5.3 assists per game.

Tip-off on Wednesday will be at 11:00 a.m. EST (8:00 a.m. PST) while tip-off on Friday is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST (4:00 p.m. PST).

50TH ANNIVERSARY
This season marks the 50th year of women's basketball at Cal State Fullerton. The program made its debut in the 1969-70 season and won the CIAW National Championship that year. The program's history will be celebrated January 5 against Hawaii

RECAPPING WEEK FOUR
Fullerton is coming off a 2-0 week with a pair of home win against Dartmouth and CSU Bakersfield. Jade Vega and Raina Perez were the dominant offensive pieces in both games as Perez had 17 in both games while Vega had 16 against the 'Runners and 15 against the Big Green.

THE HOMECOMING VICTORS
The Titans played their first homecoming game on Saturday and came out victorious against CSU Bakersfield. It was the first ever Fullerton Homecoming double-header.

IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Several Titans have found their way into the record books on the all-time career leaderboards:
Daeja Smith............2nd in Blocks (113)
.............................5th in Double-Doubles (24)
.............................9th in Field Goal Percentage (48.3%)
.............................9th in Rebounds (681)
Jade Vega...............10th in Free Throw Percentage (72.0%)
Hannah Thompson...3rd in Three-Point Percentage (36.6%)

ROAD TO 1K
Only 23 Titans have ever surpassed the 1,000-point mark for their careers, but there could be two more to reach it this year. Daeja Smith currently sits at 929 and Jade Vega is behind her at 902. They rank 27th and 28th respectively all-time.

EXCLUSIVE CLUB
Daeja Smith surpassed 900-career points and 650-career rebounds against Santa Clara. That makes her just the 9th player in program history to reach both of those marks. She currently sits at 929 points and 681 rebounds.

DAEJA-VU
Picking up where she left off last year, Daeja Smith has shown why she's on the Lisa Leslie Award watch list. Through four games, she has three double-doubles, averaging 15.1 ppg and 10.5 rpg. Her best game came against CBU when she set a career-high 26 points to go along with 16 rebounds.

GAME CHANGER
Raina Perez was forced to redshirt last season, but has shown everyone what she's capable of already this year. After missing the first game, she is averaging 13.7 points per game and 6.6 assists in a team high 36.0 minutes per game. She currently ranks 14th in the nation in assists per game and 20th in total assists.

THE KIWI IS COOKING
Despite battling a wrist injury, freshman Amiee Book has been absolutely on fire from the field this season. In seven games, she is shooting 60.3%% (35-58) from the field and 48.3% (14-29) from three. She also ranks eighth in the Big West with 12.7 ppg and has scored in double-figures all six of the seven games that she has played in.

SHARING IS CARING
This year's Fullerton team plays very unselfishly passing up good shots for great shots. Because of that, they lead the conference with 16.3 assists per game and second with 130 total assists. The 130 assists is 34th in the nation.

ON FIRE FROM THE FIELD
The Titans have shot lights out from the field so far this year, ranking leading the conference shooting 45.4% from the field leading to 68.4 points per game which is second highest scoring team in the Big West.

TURNING THE PROGRAM AROUND
Coach Harada and company wasted no time improving the program as they eclipsed the 2015-16 and 2016-17 combined win total in their first year with eight wins. They are already halfway to that mark and their 4-4 record marks the best start since 1996-97.
