FULLERTON, Calif. -- Cal State Fullerton women's basketball program begins a new era under a brand new coaching staff, as first-year head coach Jeff Harada announced the 2017-18 schedule Wednesday morning.

"I'm excited about the schedule we were able to put together in such a short amount of time," said Harada. "I like that we have games against teams in good conferences on the West Coast which include some challenging road games that will help prepare us for the tough competition within the Big West."

"Our home slate provides us some solid competition as well, so overall I feel we have a nice balance with our non conference matchups this year."

Fullerton will play host to 13 games at Titan Gym this season, five of which come in non-conference play.

The Titans will open the new season with a season-high four consecutive road games starting at Santa Clara on November 11. Staying in California for each game, they will then take on Pacific, San Diego State, and CSU Bakersfield. Fullerton will finish out the month of November with back-to-back home games against Portland (Nov. 25) and Denver (Nov. 27).

Going into December, the team will travel to Montana for a pair of games on December 1st and 2nd in the Montana Tournament. Opponents and times still to be decided. The Titans will stay out of state, as they will travel to Idaho for a game against the Vandals on December 4. Idaho is the only team on the non-conference schedule that made a postseason appearance last season.

Fullerton will then come back home for games against Antelope Valley and UT-San Antonio before hitting the road again to face Utah Valley. The Titans will close out the non-conference schedule with a home game against UTEP on December 29.

The Titans open Big West play on Jan. 4 against Hawai'i in Titan Gym.
