Park Adds Walker to Backcourt for 2016-17

FULLERTON, Calif. – All-star guard Keimeshia Walker will join the Cal State Fullerton women's basketball program, it was announced by fourth-year head coach Daron Park on Thursday.

Walker, a native of Atlanta, Ga., helped lead Maynard Jackson High School to the state championship game in 2016, and averaged over 20 points per game during both her junior and senior seasons, respectively.

"I am thrilled to welcome Keimeshia to Cal State Fullerton," Park said. "It is extremely rare to be able to add a player of her caliber at this time of year.  Keimeshia is a scorer who has great range from the perimeter and can impact the game in multiple ways on the court. I look forward to watching her grow and flourish here with her new teammates and I know the Fullerton community will love watching her play. "
