North Dakota State: This will be the first-ever meeting between these two teams.

Albany: This will be the second meeting between the two teams, and first meeting at Titan Gym.  The last meeting took place in Albany, N.Y. on Nov. 20, 2013, as the Great Danes pulled out a 71-49 victory over the Titans.

PARK'S PREVIEW
"It's a huge weekend for us to have two games at home but we are focused on the task at hand, beating North Dakota State on Friday. It seems like for the past three weeks we've only had one color uniform, so we are obviously very excited to be back at Titan Gym in front of our fans.  North Dakota State is a team that plays very hard and we know we will have to play well to beat them.  Albany was an NCAA Tournament team a season ago, and they might be the most talented and athletic team that comes into Titan Gym this season.  We will have our hands full this week handling both North Dakota State and Albany, but we are ready for the challenge." - Daron Park

FULLERTON'S RECENT RESULTS
Dec. 14 at Fresno State
Fullerton lost the final game of its season-long, six-game road trip to Fresno State, 57-52, Sunday afternoon at Save Mart Center behind Alex Sheedy's 19 points and four rebounds.
Three Titans scored in double figures against the Bulldogs. Hailey King led the way with a season-high 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field and 2-of-3 from beyond the three-point line.  Chante Miles and Tailer Butler did their best to keep the Titans close, scoring 12 and 10 points, respectively.  Butler also came down with a team-leading eight rebounds and was tied for the team-lead in assists with three.
Fullerton, which has struggled with turnovers all season, only turned the ball over to the Bulldogs once in the first half and created six turnovers on the defensive end.  That advantage was tempered due to Fresno State's dominance on the boards, out rebounding CSF 25-15 in the opening half.
The Bulldogs (6-3) wasted no time erasing the halftime deficit of 28-27 with an 11-1 run to open the half, building a nine-point lead, 38-29, with 15:32 left in the game.  Their lead would fluctuate throughout the second half with the Titans coming as close as three points with 41 seconds left, but the Titans were never able to find the equalizing bucket.

BREAKING DOWN NORTH DAKOTA STATE
The North Dakota State Bison will enter Titan Gym for the first time on Friday with plenty of experience on the floor as three starters from a year ago return in 2014-15.  Senior Brooke LeMar and junior's Marena Whittle and Holly Johnson have led the Bison into a new era with head coach Maren Walseth having been hired this past off-season.
The Bison have started the season with a 4-6 overall record after losing two of their first three games.  The Florida Atlantic Thanksgiving Tournament treated NDSU well, however, with the Bison sweeping the two-game tournament with wins over Northeastern (Mass.) and NJIT.
LeMar, the reigning Summit League Newcomer of the year, has led North Dakota State on offense so far this season, averaging 17.7 points per game. The additional returning starters from last season, Johnson and Whittle, are right behind LeMar, averaging 12.3 and 10.0 points per game, respecitvely.

BREAKING DOWN ALBANY
Coming off last season's record setting year Albany will return nine student-athletes, including America East Player of the Year Shereesha Richards.  Last season, the Great Danes set a school record with 28 wins on route to their third-consecutive America East Title.
The 2014-15 season has began with Albany alternating wins and losses through the first nine games.
Sunday's game at Titan Gym will be the final game of a season-long, six-game road trip for the Great Danes.  After the game at Titan Gym, Albany will finish a grueling six weeks to the start of their season, playing nine of its first 10 games on the road.
Richards, Albany's junior forward, leads the Great Danes this season in points (18.1), field-goal percentage (.589), rebounds (9.3), steals (2.2) and minutes played per game (32.9).

CONFERENCE CALL
Cal State Fullerton is 4-3 all-time against the Summit League and 0-1 against the America East Conference.

MILES CHASING HISTORY
With 12 points on Sunday against Fresno State, Chante Miles pushed her career total to 1,023 points.  Already  becoming the 23rd member of the 1,000-point club for Titan women's basketball on Dec. 6 against South Dakota, the senior guard is now one point away from passing her former teammate, Alex Thomas, on the all-time Fullerton scoring list.  Thomas currently sits in 21st place with 1,024 points.

CAREER NIGHTS
Chante Miles: The guard from Compton, Calif. could not be stopped Nov. 24 at Weber State as she dropped a career-high 35 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field and shot 6-of-9 from behind the arc.  Not only did Miles light up the scoreboard, but she also got her teammates involved in the game, tying her season-high in assists with six.
Amanda Tivenius: The freshman from Lindingo, Sweden scored a career-high 16 points on a very efficient 6-of-8 shooting from the floor against San Diego on Nov 18.
Daeja Smith: Freshman Daeja Smith produced the first double-double of her career Nov. 29 against New Mexico State, dropping 10 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, while adding a career-high three blocks.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS
The Fullerton coaching staff will be looking to Kathleen Iwuoha and Chante Miles to lead this team all season.  The two seniors have not dissapointed so far as Miles leads the team in minutes (37.3), points (18.2), and three-point shots made per game (2.89).  Iwuoha has been dominant on the boards this season, getting into double figures in rebounds for four of the Titans first nine games.  She has pulled down a team-high 6.3 rebounds, and a team-high 2.78 offensive rebounds per game this season.

HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT
Cal State Fullerton's 2014-15 slate will feature eight teams that were either in the NCAA tournament or WNIT postseason tournaments a year ago, with five of those matchups appearing in the non-conference schedule.
"I'm very excited about our upcoming non-conference schedule," said Park.  "I think it is a schedule filled with great tests that ultimately will prepare us for the Big West Conference.  Villanova and Albany are two great teams that we get the opportunity to play here at home.  Both are extremely well-coached. We played Albany last year at their place and they are extremely talented. We will have to be at our best early to compete with those teams. Certainly tough road trips in-state to Fresno State and San Diego, but it's important to play those teams. They are what we are aspiring to be eventually."

GLOBE TROTTING
Fullerton's global reach became a little longer this season with two newcomers from outside of the U.S.  Freshman Amanda Tivenius hailing from Lindingo, Sweden, and Dhanyel Johnson from Spanish Town, Jamaica.

BUFFALO WILD WINGS STUDENT ATHLTE OF THE WEEK
Nov. 24 - Nov. 30
Chante Miles - 25.3 points per game...3.3 assists per game...38.0 mintues per game
Dec. 1 - Dec. 7
Chante Miles - 22 points per game...became 23rd member of 1,000-point club...extended her streak of scoring in double figures to six-straight games.

EXPERIENCE LEADS THE WAY
Fullerton has experimented with three different starting lineups this season, and have seen different results with each combination.  The past four games the Titans have sent out an experienced group consisting of primarily returners, with only one freshman (Daeja Smith) in the starting lineup.  The results have been encouraging as the starting lineup of Chante Miles, Samantha Logan, Tailer Butler, Kathleen Iwuoha and Smith has posted a 2-2 record.

BUTLER PAYING DIVIDENDS
Senior Tailer Butler has been steadily gaining minutes on the floor in each game the Titans have played this season.  She has affirmed head coach Daron Park's confidence in her since being placed in the starting lineup four games ago against New Mexico State.  Through nine games this season, Butler is averaging 7.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game while playing an average of 24 minutes per contest.

KING'S CONTRIBUTIONS
Against Fresno State on Sunday, King came off the Titan bench to score in double figures for the second-straight game and led the team in scoring for the first time this season.  In her season-high 28 minutes on the floor, she pulled down four rebounds to add to her team-high point total.

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK
The Titans welcome five new faces to the squad for the 2014-15 season. Here is more on the transfers and true freshmen ready to make an impact this season:

TITANS SIXTH IN BIG WEST POLL
The Big West Preseason Media Poll was released on Oct. 22 with the Titans picked to finish sixth during the 2014-15 season.  After sweeping both the regular season and conference tournament titles last season, CSUN is the favorite to take home the crown once again this season.  Hawai'i checked in behind the Matadors, earning one first place vote.  Cal Poly was voted to finish third after back-to-back trips to the Big West tournament finals and UC Davis finishes the top half of the poll at fourth.  Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine, UC Riverside and UC Santa Barbara round out the rest of the poll.
