The Cal State Fullerton men’s soccer team has added former Claremont Mudd-Scripps College assistant coach Jonathyn Lomeli to its coaching staff as the Head Goalkeeper coach.

Coach Lomeli comes to Fullerton after a two-year stint with the Claremont Mudd-Scripps College program where his main priority was working and developing the goalkeepers to elite standards.
 

Lomeli played four years at the University of La Verne from 2009-2013 where he holds record for most minutes played in career as a goalkeeper and is top 5 in school’s shutout history. Lomeli also played in the U.S USL/PDL with the franchise Los Angeles Misioneros for three years where he made his debut on July 15, 2010 vs. So Cal Seahorses.

A 2013 graduate from the University of La Verne, Lomeli holds a degree in International Business and Language with a concentration in Spanish along with a USSF ‘D” License and a NSCAA Goalkeeping Diploma 1&2.
