FULLERTON, Calif. – After a runner-up finish in the Big West Tournament, the Cal State Fullerton men's soccer team will host three spring matches at Titan Stadium in March, the coaching staff announced on Sunday.

The Titans kick off their spring homestand against the United Soccer League's Phoenix Rising FC this Thursday at Titan Stadium. Fullerton will get to battle a talented Phoenix FC team which features former English international player Shaun Wright-Phillips who the Rising signed this offseason. The match will begin at 11 a.m. PT and admission to the event is free.

Next, the Titans will host Fullerton College at 10:30 a.m. on March 14th at Titan Stadium. Admission to that contest will be free as well.

Fullerton will have one more match at Titan Stadium in the spring as the opponent and time is still being finalized, but the date of the contest will be March 20th.

On Feb. 5th, Fullerton began its spring schedule with a 2-1 comeback victory against Toronto FC at Anteater Stadium in Irvine, Calif. The Titans trailed 1-0 through the first 45 minutes but went on to score two goals in the second half to beat the MLS club and start the spring off with a win.

Five days later, the Titans played another quality opponent in the USL's LA Galaxy II. The preseason scrimmage resulted in a 3-0 win for LA Galaxy II with Fullerton gained some top-notch experience by playing one of the better teams in the USL.

Make sure to come out to Titan Stadium and support the Titans men's soccer this Thursday against Phoenix Rising FC at 11 a.m. PT. Admission to the match will be free.
