FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton's three-game winning streak came to an end as San Diego stifled the Titans in a 3-1 loss Friday night at Titan Stadium.

Titan Stadium debuted its new Daktronics video board on Friday night, funded by the Student Success Initiative.

Fullerton's only goal came in the last minute of play as an own goal was scored by the Toreros when a back pass to the goalie was missed and rolled into the net.

The Titans (3-3-0) quickly fell behind in the first half when a goal from USD's Darragh Vieyra managed to head a corner kick over the head of Titan goalkeeper David Rodriguez Elias in the 6th minute. Fullerton gained some momentum back and had some chances, but couldn't seem to find the net.  San Diego continued to set the tone as Patrick McGrath slipped one by Rodriguez Elias in the 35th minute to give USD the 2-0 lead going into the half.

The second half of the match got a bit more aggressive as one red and four yellow cards were issued, the red card given to Fullerton's Edgar Rodriguez leaving them with only 10 men on the field with a little under 25 minutes left to play.

San Diego's last goal was scored in the 65th minute to seal the deal for the Toreros, giving the Titans their first loss at home this season.

Cal State Fullerton wraps up their three game home stand this Sunday as they host Texas Rio Grande Valley at 2 p.m. at Titan Stadium.

NOTES: The series record against USD now drops to 10-14-4… The Titans 9 shots is the lowest in a game since their season opener when they had 8 against Ohio State… The goal allowed in the 6th minute was the first goal allowed by Rodriguez Elias in over 120 minutes played… Tonight's attendance of 966 is the largest crowd the Titans have had this season… Cal State Fullerton is now 2-1 at home.
