FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton men's soccer team will feature 17 new additions to the squad that won the program's first-ever Big West Conference Tournament in 2014.
Throughout the summer, FullertonTitans.com will "Get to Know" the newest Titans, that will step on campus for the 2015-16 academic year.
The sixth Titan signee to join FullertonTitans.com for a Q&A is midfielder Oscar Flores.

FullertonTitans.com: What made you ultimately decide to attend Cal State Fullerton and play for the Titans?
Oscar Flores: My decision for college was easy. I wanted to stay close to home while pursuing a degree in Business and playing the sport that I love. Cal State Fullerton was an obvious choice for me. On my Official Visit, the team and the coaching staff welcomed me; it made me feel like a family. I toured the school many times, and it felt like home for the next 4 years.
FT: What position do you play, and what is your favorite aspect about playing that position?
OF: I can play anywhere in the midfield but my specialty is center midfield. I love to keep possession as well as creating chances to score. I like to frustrate the other team with possession and then go at them when they least expect it.
FT: What will the Titan fans expect to see from you on the field in 2015?
OF: I put other players before myself, meaning that I will do the dirty work so that the other players on the field will succeed. I do what other players aren't willing to do. I will dominate the other team with possession and tactical plays to ensure the team wins. Thriving in big games is a key factor of my style of play.
FT: What do you plan on studying in college and why?
OF: I plan to study Business at Cal State Fullerton. Someday I want to own my own business.
FT: If you had a chance to spend the day with anyone throughout history, who would it be, and why?
OF: I would spend the day with Cristiano Ronaldo. He plays the same sport that I play, and would like to see his workout plan. I would want to shadow his training to get the feeling of a professional player.
FT: What is your hidden talent?
OF: The ability to play basketball
