Ramos Named to NSCAA All-Far West Region Third Team

FULLERTON, Calif. – After a senior campaign that included a second-team All-Big West selection, a Big West Tournament Championship and a trip to the NCAA Tournament, Ian Ramos was named to the All-Far West Region Third Team, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced on Wednesday. 

Ramos scored five goals in 2014 for the Titans, adding four assists for a total of 14 points.  He led the team in shots (62), shots on goal (27), and scored 
the game-winning goal in the Big West Tournament semifinal game at UC Riverside, opening the scoring with a converted penalty kick in the fifth minute, to ignite the Titans' 3-0 victory. 

After helping Fullerton win the Big West Tournament Championship, Ramos scored the only goal for the Titans in the NCAA Tournament opening game at San Diego, a header in the 13th minute that give the Titans a 1-0 lead.

Ramos was honored with his third consecutive selection to an All-Big West team in 2014, earning a second-team selection in his final year as a Titan.

In his four-year career at Fullerton Ramos has accumulated 17 goals, 13 assists and 47 points. 

The Highland, Utah native is a three-time all-Big West honoree earning honorable mention accolades in 2013 after picking up first team honors in 2012.
