PRINCEVILLE, Kaua'i. – After one round at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational Sunday, Cal State Fullerton men's golf is in fifth with a score of 6-under par 282.
Fullerton improved throughout the round as they were tied for 12th place at one point before climbing all the way to fifth by the end of the day.
Dalton Daniel, Jack Dyer and Matt Wilson all lead the Titans individually after shooting a 2-under par 70 in round one to leave them tied for 16th place.
Michael Sharkey is not far behind the trio as he is tied for 41st place with a first round score of even at par 72. First year transfer Matt Rafter is tied for 66th place after shooting a 2-over par 74 on Sunday.
Pepperdine is in first place with two rounds to go with a score of 15-under par 273. Ole Miss is in second place at 12-under par 276. Josh Seiple leads the tournament individually with a score of 7-under par 65.
The Titans return to action for round two Monday morning beginning at 11 a.m. PT as they are paired with golfers from Sam Houston State, Louisiana and Louisville. You can following all the action to round two at GolfStat.com.
