PRINCEVILLE, Kaua'i – Fullerton men's golf improved two spots in round three to finish the Princeville Makai Invitational in ninth place with a 17-under par 847.
At the end of round two the Titans were tied for 11th place after shooting a score 278. Fullerton's score dropped in round three of the tournament, shooting a 281, however, the team was still able to move up to ninth place.
Freshman Dalton Daniel took the top spot for the Titans individually with a tied for 23rd place finish at 6-under par 210. Daniel finished the tournament with a even at par 72.
Derek Castillo also finished tied 23rd at 6-under par 210. Castillo moved up from 45th place after round two after shooting a 4-under par 68 in the third and final round.
Mark Cobey tied 63rd at 1-over par 217. Cobey moved up 14 spots in the third round after shooting a 2-under par 70. Matt Wilson tied 63rd at 1-over par 217 along with Cobey. Wilson moved up seven places after shooting a 1-under par 71 in the third round. Martin Manalo finished tied for 72nd after shooting a 2-over par 218.
