SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--- The Titans were one of the biggest movers on day two of the Big West Men's Golf Championships, as they climbed three spots to move into fifth place out at the Sandpiper Golf Club on Tuesday.

Fullerton came out with a sense of purpose on Tuesday, as every single Titan improved upon their first round score. Overall Fullerton shot a 280 to bring their overall score to 580 for the event. The Titans shot 20 strokes better than their opening day score of 300.

UC Santa Barbara leads the field with a score of 561 (-15), Cal Poly is close behind in second with a score of  567 (-9). CSUN and Long Beach State are tied for third with overall postings of 569 (-7).

Matt Murphy led the way shooting a 65 and jumped up 30 spots to move himself into seventh on the overall leaderboard, a 12-stroke improvement upon his day one score.

Matt Wilson finds himself in 12th after shooting a 71 on day two to round out the top performers for Fullerton.

Mark Cobey is tied for 20th after shooting a 70 on the day. Ty Stites and Michael Sharkey are tied for 35th.

The Titans will wrap things up tomorrow on the final day of the Big West Championships. Sharkey will get things started for the Titans, teeing off at 7:30 am PT.
