STOCKTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton men's golf team concluded its 2015 fall schedule with a 10th-place finish at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational played at Stockton Golf and Country Club on Saturday.

In the third and final round of action, the Titans shot 297, ending the tournament with a total score of 41-over-par 893.

Sacramento State captured the Pacific Invitational championship (859; +7), followed by Long Beach State (861; +9), UC Irvine (874; +22), Pacific (882; +30) and Denver (885; +33) to round out the top five. The Titans finished just one shot back of finishing in a tie for seventh with Fresno State, Nevada and UC Riverside.

Senior Nico Mendoza finished tied for eighth as he shot an even par 71 in the third and final round to complete his tournament with a 216 (+3).

Freshman Jack Ireland rebounded with the best round of the day, one-under-par 70, in the third round, finishing the tournament tied for 23rd with a score of 221 (+8).

Freshman Matt Wilson finished tied for 40th as his third-round score of 78 (+7) pushed his three-day total to 12-over-par 225.

Junior Matt Murphy also shot a score of 7-over-par 78 on Saturday as his three-round total score of 232 (+19), placed him at 70th.

Sophomore Mark Cobey completed the third round at 81 (+10) as his final score of 237 (+24), tied for 81st in the standings.

UC Irvine's David Kim won the individual title with a score 209 (-4).

The Titans return to action on Friday, Jan. 29 at the Arizona Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz.
