SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton men's golf team ended the day in 11th place after two rounds of play at the 2015 Bill Cullum Invitational at Wood Ranch Golf Club.

The Titans finished the day with a total score of 11-over-par 587 with a round one mark of 289 and a round two score of 298.

In his first tournament of the year, senior Nico Mendoza is leading the Titans tied for 29th place with a total score of 145 (+1) after shooting a 2-under par 70 in the first round followed by a second round score of 75 (+3).

Jack Ireland's total of 146 (+2) following two rounds has the freshman tied for 34th after a score of 72 in the first round and a mark of 74 (+2) in the second round. Also tied for 34th with a score 146 (+2) is junior Matt Murphy, who shot identical round scores of 72 (1st) and 74 (2nd).

Mark Cobey's 6-over-par two-round score of 150 has the sophomore tied for 61st place, and senior Mark Jensma is in 90th place after shooting a two-round score of 159 (+15).

Loyola Marymount will enter Tuesday's third round of play in the lead (559; -17), followed by Seattle (562; -14) Santa Clara (564; -12), Pepperdine (568; -8), Cal Poly (571; -5), UC Santa Barbara (573; -3), Utah State (574; -2), Long Beach State (579; +3), UC Riverside (581; +5) and Boise State (584; +8) to round out the top 10.

Seattle's Joe Harvie tops the individual leaderboard with a two-round score of 10-under-par 134.

The Titans will resume play at the 2015 Bill Cullum Invitation for the third and final round with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Wood Ranch Golf Club.
