A LOOK AT THE WEEK: After beginning the spring portion of its schedule at the Arizona Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz., the Cal State Fullerton men's golf team returns to Southern California to host the Folino Invitational as one of nine teams competing in the two-day tournament on Feb.17-18 in the City of Industry, Calif.
THE COURSE: The two-day event will be contested at the Industry Hills Golf Club, playing at 7,211 yards from the tournament tees and par 72 for the 54-hole event. Play begins in the morning for the first and second rounds on Monday, while concluding on Tuesday with the final round.
THE FIELD: Competing alongside the Titans will be squads from CSU Bakersfield, Cal Baptist, Rutgers, Grand Canyon, Sacramento State, UC Irvine, Utah State and British Columbia.

IN THE RANKINGS: Cal State Fullerton is ranked No. 55 in the nation according to the Golfstat.com NCAA Head-to-Head rankings, facing a field that features one team ranked higher than the Titans: UC Irvine is No. 116, Rutgers is No. 149, Sacramento State is No. 137, Utah State is No. 204, CSU Bakersfield is No. 287, while Cal Baptist is No. 18 in Division II Rankings and British Columbia is currently unranked.
According to the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, Fullerton is the only top-100 ranked team in the competition rated at No. 5; The rest of the field: No. 101 Long Beach State, No. 111 UC Irvine, No. 114 Sacramento State, No. 133 Rutgers, No. 235 Oakland University, No. 196 Utah State, while Cal Baptist, CSU Bakersfield and British Columbia are currently unranked.
FOLINO INVITATIONAL: This week will mark the fourth consecutive year, the Titans' host the Folino Invitational in Southern California. Last season, Cal State Fullerton finished in fourth place with a score of 897 (+33), behind Loyola Marymount (895, +31), UC Irvine (876, +12) and winner Long Beach State (872, +8).

A LOOK BACK: Fullerton junior Mark Anguiano finished tied for 23rd with an overall score of 221 (+8) to lead the Titans to an seventh place finish at the Arizona Intercollegiate at the Sewailo Golf Course in Tucson, Ariz. on Jan 27-28, 2014. The Titans shot an 893 to finish 41-over par, while California walked away with the victory after finishing the tournament with a score of 853 (+1). The Golden Bears final round on Tuesday was a score of 287 (+1). California was followed by Arizona (868, +16), New Mexico (870, +18), and Southern California (872, +20). Anguiano shot a team best of 71 in the first round of the tournament. Senior Corey Gard (222, +9) ended the tournament tied for 28th after recording a score of 73 on Tuesday. Junior Ryan Tetrault shot 73 (+2) on Monday and ended the tournament 12-over par to tie for 37th in the standings. Senior Josh Park also tied for 37th place (225, +12). Fullerton freshman Kyle De Silva finished 27-over par to finish in 77th place (240, +27).
MARK ME UNDER: Mark Anguiano has shot at least 72 or under in every tournament during the 2013-14 season. In four of his last six rounds, Anguiano has shot under 70 (66, 65, 69, 67). His scoring average, 69.27, is first on the team and has played in all five tournaments this season. According to the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, Anguiano is the No. 41 ranked Men's Collegiate Individual with a rating of 69.72 in 2014 to lead the Titans.
