Riverside, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball picked up the season sweep of UC Riverside with its 77-54 win on Saturday evening. The Titans, winners of six of the last seven games, were led by senior guard Kyle Allman, Jr. who scored a game-high 30 points.
UC Riverside led 21-15 at the 8:51 mark of the first half but the Titans closed the half well and led 37-28 at the break. Fullerton then opened the second half on a 10-2 run and they would not look back, extending the lead to 20 points at the halfway mark of the second frame.

Allman finished the game with 30 points, scoring 20 of those in the first half. He shot 10-17 from the field, 4-7 from distance and 6-8 from the stripe. Senior guard Khalil Ahmad was also in double figures with 13 points to go with five rebounds, three assists and a steal. Junior guard Austen Awosika tallied seven points, a career-high 11 assists, three rebounds, a block and a steal. Junior forward Jackson Rowe stuffed the stat sheet as well with seven points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and a steal.
Fullerton returns to action on Wednesday at 7 p.m. PT against Long Beach State for an Orange Out. Be sure to wear orange to the game.
