San Francisco Defeats Men’s Basketball

SAN FRANCISCO – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball fell at San Francisco on Sunday afternoon by a score of 68-54. The Dons connected on 10 three-point field goals and had three players in double figures. Senior guard Kyle Allman, Jr. (14) and junior forward Jackson Rowe (10) were the lone Titans in double figures.

The Dons jumped out a 12-0 lead to start the game and did not relinquish that lead. They lead 38-18 at halftime and finished the game shooting 49% (25-51) from the field, 38% (10-26, 8-16 in the first half) from distance and 53% (9-17) from the free-throw line. CSF converted 14 Titan turnovers into 21 points. Frankie Ferrari had a game-high 16 points and four assists.

Allman tallied 14 points and five rebounds while Rowe had 10 points and four rebounds. Junior forward Amel Kuljuhovic tallied seven points, seven rebounds and a steal in 14 minutes. Junior guard Jamal Smith totaled six points, two rebounds and three assists.

Fullerton continues its road swing with a trip to Nebraska on Saturday at 11 a.m. PT.
