There will be two chances to see the defending Big West Tournament Champions in action in Titan Gym before the season officially begins. The annual Blue/Orange Scrimmage will take place on Friday night, Oct. 26. The Titans are also hosting San Diego Christian in an exhibition match on Saturday, Nov. 3.

To officially begin the year, CSF is set to play at Arizona State on Nov. 6. The Sun Devils, who were at one point ranked No. 3 in the nation, finished last year with a 20-12 record, earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament as an No. 11 seed and lost in the round of 68.

The Titans then host West Coast Baptist on Nov. 10 before heading to South Carolina to compete in the Myrtle Beach Invitational. To open up that competition, the Titans will face Central Florida on Nov. 15 at 10:30 a.m. PT. In 2017-18, UCF posted a 19-13 record and did not play in the postseason.

In what will be a roughly 10-day trip, the squad will go from Fullerton, to Myrtle Beach, to New York to face Hofstra (Nov. 21) and then will play at Sacramento State (Nov. 24) before returning home.

"I think we have an opportunity to really test our team early in the season," head coach Dedrique Taylor said. "We upped the ante with our schedule this year in terms of playing at Arizona State, at Washington and the Myrtle Beach Invitational, playing at Nebraska and going back to St. Mary's."

Following that trip, the Titans play two home games against Cal Lutheran on homecoming on Dec. 1 and then host Loyola Marymount on Dec. 5.

Five of the next six games are on the road for Taylor's squad. On Dec. 10, the Titans return to Moraga to face St. Mary's for the second straight year. SMC boasted a 30-6 overall record last season and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NIT. CSF then plays at San Francisco on Dec. 16 and at Nebraska on Dec. 22. Nebraska posted a 22-11 record last year and suffered a defeat in the first round of the NIT to end the season.

"We upped the ante for two reasons," Taylor said. "First, we have a great deal of experience back. Second, this group of guys needs to be challenged mentally and physically. We need to see where we are in hopes of getting ready for the Big West Conference play and I think our schedule is put together with that emphasis. We have to learn how to play early and also be aware mentally with some of the schools that are on our schedule."

On Dec. 29, the Titans return home for a game against the Portland Pilots before returning to the road to play at Washington on Jan. 1, the final non-conference matchup of the year. The Huskies were 21-13 for the 17-18 season and made it to the second round of the NIT.

Fullerton begins Big West play on the road at Hawai'i on Wednesday, Jan. 9 and then return home to face UC Irvine on Saturday, Jan. 12. To wrap up league play, the Titans host Hawai'i on Senior Day on Saturday, March 9.

The Big West Tournament title defense begins on March 14 at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
