Johnson scored in double figures for four consecutive games recording two 20-point games and one 30-point effort. The junior guard led the Titans in scoring for three games and in assists on two occasions. He led the Titans in field goal percentage (.509), three-pointers (13/.481), free throws (23-of-29) and steals (7). Johnson's most significant performance was a 27-point, two-assist effort in a  come-from-behind victory vs. Wight State on Nov. 27 scoring 19 points in the second half.

BIG WEST STATS
• Lanerryl Johnson's 16.9 points per game rank fifth in the Big West Conference, and his .442 three-point field goal percentage (19-of-45) is tied for third. His 2.38 three-pointers per game rank third in the conference.

• Joe Boyd's 6.6 rebounds per game ranks sixth in the Big West followed by Steve McClellan at 6.4 rpg.
Alex Harris' 32.8 minutes per game rank second in the league.

PUSHING THE PACE

The transfer from Central Arizona Junior College is shooting 44.2 percent from the floor and he has knocked down 19 three-pointers despite playing the role of the team's starting point guard.

MORE JOHNSON STATS
• Johnson has led the Titans in scoring on four occasions this season.
• The Atlanta, Ga., native scored 31 points in Cal State Fullerton's 79-64 loss at USC Upstate on Nov. 28. Johnson is the first Titan to score at least 30 points since Sammy Yeager at UC Riverside on Feb. 9, 2013.

OFFENSE ON THE PERIMETER
Cal State Fullerton's top three scorers are all guards. Junior transfer Lanerryl Johnson leads the Titans averaging 16.9 points per game, while redshirt senior Alex Harris is averaging 12.5 ppg after a 26-point performance in a 64-61 victory over Florida International on Saturday. Redshirt senior Moses Morgan is averaging 9.9 ppg.

ON THE GLASS
Sophomore forward Joe Boyd leads the Titans averaging 6.6 rebounds per game. Boyd has led or shared the lead in rebounds in six of eight games this season. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native matched a career-high and set a Titan season high with 10 rebounds in a 67-62 victory over Wright State on Nov. 27.In addition to his rebounding efforts, Boyd is averaging 5.8 points per game and  shooting 50.0 percent from the field to lead the team.

HOW TO GET A W
Cal State Fullerton is 3-0 when shooting a higher field goal percentage than its opponent. The Titans are averaging 67.0 points per game and shooting 42.9 percent from the floor in their three victories, while averaging 57.8 ppg and shooting 35.7 percent from the floor in their five losses.

A NEW LOOK
Second-year head coach Dedrique Taylor has five returning lettermen - including three starters - and three returning redshirts on his roster for 2014-15. In addition, the Titans have eight newcomers. Of the 16 players on Cal State Fullerton's roster, 11 had not played in a game for the Titans prior to this season.

COUNTING DOWN
Redshirt senior guard Alex Harris has scored 855 career points as he is just 145 short of reaching the 1,000-point threshold for his three-year career as a Titan. ADDING DEPTHA year ago, Cal State Fullerton had only four student-athletes at 6-foot-7 or taller to play in the post. This season, second-year head coach Dedrique Taylor has six players at 6-foot-7 or taller at his disposable. The Titans were outrebounded 35.0-33.7 rpg last season, but the additions of 6-foot-7 freshman Jamar Akoh, 6-foot-10 junior Kennedy Esume, 6-foot-8 sophomore Malcolm Henderson and 6-foot-7 junior Temjae Singleton should help significantly.

SCORING ASSISTANCE
The Titan offense averaged 67.5 points per game last season, the lowest average for a Titan team since the 2002-03 season (62.9 ppg).Similar to the post position, the Titans have added depth in the back court to push the tempo in 2014-15.• In eight games, the newcomers have already had an impact in scoring, as junior guard Lanerryl Johnson leads the Titans averaging 16.9 points per game and redshirt senior Moses Morgan is averaging 9.9 ppg.

AIR TIME
The Cal State Fullerton men's basketball team is scheduled to make a total of 10 television appearances during the 2014-15 season, with the option of three additional "wild card" productions. The breakdown includes five appearances via ESPN3, two on the Pac-12 Network, two on Prime Ticket and one on ROOT Sports.
