Titans Add Local Flavor with Latest Signee

FULLERTON, Calif. – Centennial High School's Khalil Ahmad committed to the Cal State Fullerton men's basketball program as second-year head coach Dedrique Taylor announced his first national letter of intent for the 2015 class on Friday.

Ahmad will enroll at Cal State Fullerton for the 2015-16 academic year.

Three-star recruit as rated by ESPN.com…led Centennial to the CIF State Boys Playoff championship game in Sacramento during his junior season…the Huskies finished the season with a 29-4 record under head coach Josh Giles…claimed a Big VIII League championship with a 10-0 record…the team finished the season ranked 23rd in the nation and eighth in the state as rated by MaxPreps.com…four-year member of the varsity squad…scouting services in Southern California have said Ahmad is one of the most improved prospects in the area from his junior to senior year.

The 2014-15 season begins tonight as Cal State Fullerton travels to Santa Clara. The Titans will play at New Mexico on Sunday before returning to Titan Gym for their home opener on Saturday, Nov. 22 against San Jose State.
