Four Titans Selected in NBA Development League Draft

FULLERTON, Calif. - Four former members of the Cal State Fullerton men's basketball program were selected in the 2014 NBA Development League Draft on Saturday.

D.J. Seeley (2012-13) was the first Titan selected as the first pick of the second round by the Delaware 87ers. In two years at Cal State Fullerton, Seeley averaged 17.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game shooting 45.5 percent from the floor while knocking down 129 three-pointers.

Seeley was a National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District second team selection following the 2012-13 season, and he was named the Big West Newcomer of the Year and was voted to the Big West Conference First Team following the 2011-12 campaign.

Omondi Amoke (2012) was selected as the fifth pick of the second round by the Grand Rapids Drive. Amoke averaged 10.8 points and 9.1 rebounds during the 2011-12 season at Fullerton, and was a Big West second team selection and also made the Big West All-Academic Team.

His 273 rebounds from the 2011-12 season rank fourth in Cal State Fullerton single-season history.

Michael Williams (2014), the 2014 Big West Newcomer of the Year, was selected as the 15th pick of the second round by the Sioux Fall Skyforce.

The only player to start all 31 games for the Titans last season, Williams was named to the Big West Conference second team after leading the Titans in points (538; 17.4 ppg), three-pointers (71) and assists (76).

He recorded double figures in all 31 games he played in, including 12 20-point performances. The Van Nuys, Calif., native ranked in the top-10 of four Big West statistical categories: points (17.4 ppg; 5th), three-point field goal percentage (.359; 8th), three-pointers per game (2.29, 3rd), minutes (34.61; 2nd).

Sammy Yeager (2013) was chosen as the ninth pick of the seventh round by the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

Yeager averaged 15.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game during the 2012-13 season. He set a new Cal State Fullerton single-season record shooting 44.6 percent from three-point range, knocking down 66 treys.
