Blue-Orange Scrimmage (PDF)FULLERTON, Calif. – The Titans invite Cal State Fullerton students and fans to the Blue-Orange Scrimmage and Fan Fest on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Titan Gym, for an evening of basketball, crowd contests and giveaways.
Admission to the event is FREE, and there will be several giveaways throughout the evening including Titan basketball gear, men's basketball season tickets, Big West Tournament tickets and 2014 DIRECTV Wooden Legacy tickets. In addition, fans will have the chance to compete in a half-court shot contest.
Every fan in attendance will also receive a free general admission ticket to the men's basketball home opener on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. as Cal State Fullerton hosts San Jose State.
For students, FREE pizza and soft drinks will be available courtesy of men's basketball head coach Dedrique Taylor. In addition, students will be introduced to the new student cheering section "The Stampede," and the first 100 students will receive T-shirts. DJ Baeb will also be offering his musical style for the event.
The scrimmage is free for all who wish to attend, and will afford fans the opportunity to meet and greet members of the 2014-15 squad.
Cal State Fullerton returns five lettermen and three starters from last year's team, including Big West Conference honorable mention guard Alex Harris.
In addition, the Titans welcome six newcomers including Jamar Akoh, Malcolm Henderson, Keilan Horton, Lanerryl Johnson, Kennedy Esume and Temjae Singleton as well as two returning redshirts in Moses Morgan and Corey Walker.
There will be a post-game reception dinner to follow immediately afterward on the pool deck at the student recreation center. The fee to attend is $75, with a meal and two drink tickets for either beer or wine included. All proceeds will go directly to the men's basketball program.

Fullerton opens the year with an exhibition against Caltech at 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8, before the team's season opener on the road at Santa Clara on Friday, Nov. 14.
