2014 Wooden Legacy Bracket (PDF)

The bracket for the 2014 Wooden Legacy – to be played Thursday, Friday and Sunday, Nov. 27, 28 & 30 in Southern California – has been set for the eight competing teams: Long Beach State, Princeton, San Diego, San Jose State, UTEP, Washington, Western Michigan and Xavier.

The multi-day, destination event will feature 12 games over three days. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through a bracketed-tournament format.  Five of the 12 match-ups, including the championship game, will be showcased on ESPN2.  ESPNU will carry four games and three will be exclusive to ESPN3.

The opening two days of competition, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27 & 28, will be staged at Titan Gym on the campus of Cal State Fullerton. Four games, including the title game, will be played on Sunday, Nov. 30, at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

The tournament tips off Thursday with Princeton (Ivy League) pitted against UTEP (Conference USA) at 2 p.m. ET on ESPNU. The opener will be immediately followed by San Diego (West Coast) vs. Xavier (BIG EAST) at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN2. Thursday's evening session will showcase Long Beach State (Big West) vs. Western Michigan (Mid-American) on ESPNU at 8:30 p.m. and wrap with a battle between San Jose State (Mountain West) and Washington (Pac-12) at 11 p.m. on ESPN2.

Five of the eight teams in the 2014 Wooden Legacy competed in the postseason last March. Western Michigan and Xavier earned berths in the NCAA Championships, while Princeton and UTEP participated in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) and San Diego reached the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT).
