FULLERTON, Calif. -- Dust off your clubs and hit the links with Cal State Fullerton men's basketball coaches and student-athletes as the athletic department will host the 2014 Men's Basketball Golf Tournament Presented by Nike on Monday, Aug. 11, at the Black Gold Golf Club in nearby Yorba Linda, Calif.
The annual golf event benefits the Titans' men's basketball program. Festivities begin with registration and a luncheon at 11 a.m. on Aug. 11 with a shotgun start to follow at 1 p.m. Your contribution includes the round of golf, cart, range balls, lunch, post-event dinner banquet, and auction.
"The golf tournament is the most crucial fund raising event that the men's basketball program holds," second-year head coach Dedrique Taylor said. "Last year, I was incredibly overwhelmed by the generosity of our supporters and surrounding community. Once again, I am looking forward to another first-class event, as well as, giving our donors the opportunity to meet with our student-athletes to continue to build a sense of community around our men's basketball program."
