Mason Transfers to Cal State Fullerton

FULLERTON, Calif. – Jordan Mason, a former guard at Colorado State, has transferred to Cal State Fullerton and enrolled for the spring 2014 semester.

Mason left CSU following his freshman season (2012-13), and will be eligible to play following the conclusion of the 2014 fall term as a redshirt sophomore. 

With the Rams, Mason played in 12 games.

Mason attended Ennis High School in Ennis, Texas where he played for his father, Jerry Mason. The-6-foot-2 guard was regarded as one of the top prospects in the state of Texas, and was ranked No. 13 in the state and rated nationally as a three-star recruit by TexasHoops.com and Rivals.com.

He earned three all-district nods (2010-12) and district MVP honors (2011) as well. Mason garnered all-state honors as a junior and senior for the Lions, and was nominated for McDonald's All-America honors. He amassed more than 2,500 points in his high school career at Ennis, and averaged nearly four assists, four rebounds and two steals per contest. He led the Lions to 67 victories in four years, including an impressive 47 wins in his final two seasons.
