LOS ANGELES – Former Titan Justin Turner scored the game-winning run in the sixth inning and then provided an RBI single to break things open in the seventh, as the Los Angeles Dodgers earned a pivotal game five victory 5-2 over the Milwaukee Brewers, Wednesday afternoon at Dodger Stadium.
After a sluggish game four for the Dodger offense, Turner did his part, accounting for two of LA's nine hits on Wednesday. Overall, he went 2-of-3 from the dish with a run scored and an RBI on the day.
After Game 1, Frank Thomas suggested that the Dodgers should not start Justin Turner in Game 2, and he heard from his wife, @court_with_a_K on Twitter.

The first of his two hits came in the bottom of the sixth, smacking a 2-2 pitch right up the middle to lead off the frame. Turner eventually scored from second base on a one out single by Max Muncy left field to make it a 2-1 Dodgers lead.
In the seventh inning, it was Turner providing the big hit this time. He lined a 1-2 pitch up the middle to easily score Clayton Kershaw from third base, while Turner was able to advance to second on the throw thanks to some heads up base running. The knock broke the game open and put LA up 4-1.
With the Dodgers leading the National League Championship Series 3-2, they'll have a chance to get back to the World Series for the second straight season with a win on Friday up in Milwaukee. Game six will be at 5:39 pm PT and can be seen on FS1.
